Why leather needs looking after
Leather is skin, and it dries out the same way. Body oils, sweat and dirt build up in the grain, and Sydney sun through the windows dries it further. Left alone, it stiffens, darkens on the bolsters and eventually cracks. Regular cleaning and conditioning keeps it supple and looking right.
How often
Every 3 to 6 months suits most cars, more often for light-coloured leather or cars parked in the sun.
