How Much Does Car Detailing Cost in Sydney?
Starting prices for mobile detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction and mould removal, and what makes a quote go up or down.

It's one of the first things people ask, and the honest answer is that it depends on the car and its condition. Here are our starting prices, and what affects the final quote.
Starting prices
- Mini detail: from $249 (3 to 4 hours)
- Full detail: from $449 (5 to 6.5 hours)
- Presale detail: from $799 (7 to 9 hours)
- Mould removal: from $399
- Paint correction: from $650
- Gtechniq ceramic coating: from $999
Interior, exterior, seat, carpet, engine bay and headlight services are quoted on the vehicle and condition. Caravan protection is quoted per van.
What affects the price
- Size: a hatch takes less time than a 7-seater or a van.
- Condition: heavy pet hair, sand, mould, vomit or years of neglect take longer.
- Paint condition: for paint correction and ceramic coating, the number of polishing stages needed is the biggest factor.
- Extras: child seats, roof lining, engine bay or add-on coatings for wheels and glass.
Why we quote before we start
Two cars that look the same in a photo can need very different amounts of work. We confirm the price with you before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Send a few photos with your quote request and you'll usually have an exact price the same day.
Is mobile detailing more expensive than a car wash?
A drive-through wash is cheaper, but it's not the same service. A detail is done by hand, inside and out, with proper extraction, dressing and protection, and it's done at your place, so you don't lose half a day.
